Comments:

Westbrook is a fun place to work. After years of only part-time teaching, it is good to be back in the classroom for a while. Another nice thing about Westbrook is that I have been able to catch up on a lot of networking and teaching skills. The software has changed on both the server side and on the user side. I do all the server setups and all the desktop setups, refreshing all of my skills there also.

The students are wonderful to work with again. When I left teaching one of the reasons was that the technology work was taking me away from the students too often and interfering with my ability to give a quality education. Westbrook is small enough and the staff understanding enough that this does not happen.

I have also been able to return to my creative side with the Digital Graphics class. We have a lot of fun designing logos, animated graphics, and working with photos. Sometimes I think I have more fun than the students. I know that some day I will return to the desk job, but for now I intend on having some fun.

In addition, I am back with staff development. From formal training days to the personal training moments, I am able to work directly with teachers again. The staff here is great and I truly enjoy the variety of job duties.
